I am always on the perpetual hunt for super easy, yummy recipes, and I sort of stumbled across two! I thought of two drumstick ideas and couldn't decide which one to do, so I thought it would be fun to cook both and see which one the kiddos liked more. Yes, because it was that easy to cook both at the same time! You can watch the video below to see how Jie and Didi liked the two, but spoiler alert, it was a super close call, where they basically liked both of them. However, the one they like just a little bit more was...
👏 Honey-Soy Sauce-Garlic! 👏
Both versions came out so tasty that I will continue cooking both though, so I present to you the recipes for both!
Drumsticks with Honey and Soy Sauce
Ingredients
4 cloves of garlic, minced
5 tablespoons of soy sauce
6 tablespoons of honey
3-4 chicken drumsticks, uncooked
Directions
Put minced garlic, soy sauce, and honey in a ziploc bag and mix the ingredients together.
Place drumsticks in the ziploc bag and marinate in the refrigerator for a few hours.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Place drumsticks and sauce in a baking dish and cook for 40 minutes. Turn the drumsticks halfway, around the 20 minute mark. The sauce got a little burnt for us, so feel free to leave it out. Just remember to grease your pan if you do this.
Done! Check that your chicken has been cooked through and enjoy!
Drumsticks with Trader Joe's Soyaki
Ingredients
10 tablespoons Trader Joe's Soyaki
3-4 chicken drumsticks, uncooked
Directions

Place drumsticks and sauce in a baking dish and cook for 40 minutes. Turn the drumsticks halfway, around the 20 minute mark.
Done! Check that your chicken has been cooked through and enjoy!
